Peabody launches virtual tour of new development

Property-hunters can now take a virtual tour of Peabody’s new Stonelea Gardens
development in Leyton, East London.

The development is set to offer shared ownership properties, and those interested can take
an interactive virtual tour of the apartments at a time and day of their choosing.

Andrew Peglau, assistant director of marketing at Peabody, said: “We are very keen to do
what we can to help support those buyers who want to continue their homeownership
journey.

“During this difficult lockdown period, it will inevitably have an effect on certain living
situations, especially for first time buyers still living with parents or sharing with friends who aspire to own their own space to retreat to.

“By offering the opportunity to interactively walk through our new Shared Ownership homes at Stonelea Gardens, it means buyers won’t miss out on any opportunity to be one of the first to reserve a home at this stunning development.”

The site, which contains Grade II listed buildings, was once home to the Leyton workhouse
which opened in 1842, before it became NHS Langthorne Hospital in 1948. It now boasts a
contemporary collection of one, two and three bedroom apartments, overlooking the green
open space of Langthorne Park.

The shared ownership apartments are centred around a new village green and courtyard
gardens.
