Selling your home almost always mean that you need to move to another property, whether that be a home that you buy or rent.  But with Property Rescue you can stay put after your sale. 

How does it work?

Property Rescue guarantee to make an offer for your home, regardless of its location or state of repair.  Once an offer has been made and accepted by you – and there is no obligation for you to proceed if you don’t want to – then the paperwork will be drawn up for you to sign.  Property Rescue use their own solicitors whose fees are included in the offer price, so you won’t find yourself having to pay a legal bill once the sale is concluded. 

The sale will take place quickly as there is no chain to hold things up and no move to arrange.  You will stay in your property, not as the owner but as a tenant.  You will have all the rights that every tenant enjoys and you will have a tenancy agreement drawn up by Property Rescue which sets out the terms of your tenancy and tells you how much your rent will cost.

How much does it cost?

There are no fees involved – absolutely none!  Property Rescue will engage their own solicitor and pay the legal fees on the sale.  You won’t need to prepare a Home Information Pack as the sale is private; this alone could save you up to £700.  You won’t have to pay an estate agent to advertise your home and deal with the sale on your behalf, nor will you have to pay removal expenses.  Property Rescue will pay off your mortgage for you once the sale is complete; they will also deal with other loans you may have secured on your property and non-secured loans that you’d like to pay off at the same time.  Once that has been done, the balance of the money will go into your bank account for you to do with as you wish.  You might like to keep the money as a nest egg for the future, or perhaps treat yourself to that holiday you’ve always dreamed of.  Remember though, that you won’t have your property as an asset and you therefore need to think ahead.  Take financial advice over how best to use the proceeds of your sale.

Who needs to know?

Apart from the people directly involved, no one need ever know anything has happened.  No sales people will call on you unannounced and all the arrangements will be done in complete confidence.  Property Rescue will explain everything to you in detail to ensure you are happy before you proceed, but if you decide that selling up isn’t right for you, then you are free to walk away and you won’t have incurred any charges.
