Selling Your Home After Bereavement
With bereavement comes the additional stress of sorting out the affairs of your loved one. If a Will has been made this is usually less onerous because your solicitor and the executors of the Will can help you with the formalities that need to be done at this time. If a Will hasn’t been made, you may want to contact a solicitor or seek advice from your local Citizens Advice Bureau to find out what is likely to happen to the estate of the person who has died.
Bereavement is an enormously difficult time, even when affairs have been left in order. It is one of the most emotionally draining times of our lives and is always made far worse if there are financial difficulties that need to be resolved. Should this be the case, you will need to find a way of paying off debts as quickly as possible. Remember to contact the companies to whom your loved one owed money. It is always better for everyone if they know what has happened and are aware that you are taking action.
In cases where there is no other option but to sell your home to pay off debts, Property Rescue will make an offer for the property and complete the sale extremely quickly. They take care of all the paperwork for you, leaving you with one less thing to worry about. The sale will be concluded and the money from the proceeds, less any outstanding mortgage or loans that you ask Property Rescue to settle on your behalf, will be paid straight into your bank account.
Ask Property Rescue for details and end your financial worries. You can even benefit from a ‘sell and rent back’ scheme that allows you to remain in your home as a tenant if you wish. Property Rescue will be pleased to explain how this works. Everything is carried out quickly, in confidence, and you are under no obligation to proceed if you decide not to.
